We are Helferline, a Vienna-based startup seeking experienced Developers (Full-Stack / Backend / Frontend) to join our dynamic team. As our Developer, you will be responsible for the re-design, development, and improvement of our existing frontend and backend solutions, with a focus on strong REST integration to external APIs. You will have the opportunity to work on a new system based on Microservices and Cloud-Services and contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of the system while considering current best practices, security, and data privacy.
Technologies / Stack:

Linux
Apache
MariaDB
Node.js
Angular (or similar Framework) and TypeScript

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and improve our existing frontend and backend solution with strong REST integration to external APIs
Work with Microservices and Cloud-Services, participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of the system (ensure adherence to current best practices, security, and data privacy)

Requirements:

Several years of experience in Full-Stack Development, System Architecture, and Design OR
Strong experience with Angular (or similar frameworks) and TypeScript for Frontend Development OR
Strong experience with Node.js / Express, SQL for Backend Development
Good knowledge of JS/ TypeScript and Node.js
Basic knowledge of Web Services, Microservices, and SQL Databases
Good understanding of UNIX/Linux systems
Highly self-motivated and eager to learn
Willingness to grow and expand knowledge of new technologies and concepts

Experience:

Experience with medium to large-scale development projects focused on distributed systems and Microservices
Familiarity with REST architectures and Microservices
Experience with GIT and other VC Tools
