You will join a highly dynamic development team, supporting with your skills a new and highly competitive product in the automotive industry. This new product for battery cell testing is based on our successful product from the space domain (power test equipment for satellites). The battery cell testers are used in the various stages of assembly, integration, verification and testing of the different subsystems of battery manufacturers. Our goal is to design, configure, assemble, integrate, and test our own products to finally deliver them to our customers (battery manufacturers) and put them into operation at their premises.
We are seeking a talented and versatile developer with a unique skill set encompassing both Product Ownership and Front-end Development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, implementing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces, and cooperating with back-end software developers. Your expertise in understanding user needs and translating them into software requirements will play a key role in the success of our product line.
Your responsibilities will cover:

Apply your understanding of automation software principles to create desktop applications.
You will collaborate with stakeholders and customers to gather requirements, define project scope.
Incorporate user feedback and usability testing to continuously improve software usability.
Guide the software development teams, by maintaining and reviewing the product backlog and roadmap in Jira.

As you will be working on a cutting-edge design of a power electronics product, your diligence and experience would be vital for the overall success of the R&D project. Your commitment will make it possible to develop a turnkey solutions for battery testing.
Mandatory competences:

5 years of experience developing desktop apps
2 year of experience with measurement and automation SW in the automotive industry.
5 years of experience in Java or at least one of the following programming languages C#, C++, Python, Ruby, and JavaScript to create desktop applications.
Very good knowledge of English

Beneficial know-how:

Familiarity with battery test environment or automotive industry is an advantage
Doors – Requirement engineering (or similar requirement engineering tool / method)
Deep understanding of user interface design principles and implementation best practices.

Professional Experience:

Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience, developing desktop applications for windows.
Demonstrated track record of effectively communicating with customers.

Soft Skills:

Analytical and solution oriented, take ownership and responsibility
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Intercultural cooperation
Team player
