OVERVIEW:
At Sportradar we've experienced a period of sustained hypergrowth due to a highly focused strategy. This strategy has been based upon providing sports data and streaming services to betting operators and media companies around the world. As a part of Sportradar's "Ad:s" team, your contribution will ensure the continuation of this trajectory.
You'll have the responsibility to develop engaging products based on Sportradar's sport statistics and betting data. These products will be distributed to online publishers throughout the world.
The successful candidate combines his/her good knowledge in both frontend and backend development technologies for high-load, user-centric applications with a good understanding of how to use their strengths for maximum impact towards team goals.
The role is based in Vienna and offers the chance to develop further within the organization. Additionally, you will be exposed to the exciting world of gambling advertisement, making this role both challenging and rewarding!
THE CHALLENGE:
Join the sports data team working to create products combining sports and betting data – inside a department that is a key focus for Sportradar’s future growth.
Work with a range of different languages and components that use Golang and Python on top of multiple cloud-based AWS serverless architecture.
Coordinate work with local and international colleagues, to provide input and gather knowledge to best solve the problem at hand.
Stay informed on new technologies, trends, and developments and share those findings internally.
Develop Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions that can improve data analysis and decision-making processes within Sportradar's operations.
YOUR PROFILE:
2-4 years of work experience in web development, with a university degree being an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Python or Golang programming languages.
Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data science techniques.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or Git is essential. AWS or Google Cloud experience is considered a plus.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Very good knowledge of verbal and written English.
A passion for design and technology that drives your interest in the role.
A willingness to learn new technologies and approaches as they emerge within the industry.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
