Founded in 2014, our company is a established player providing our clients peace of mind in regards to regulatory compliance. We offer our SaaS Solution as a unified platform that helps businesses achieve global transaction reporting compliance across multiple regulations. We embarked on a journey two years ago to modernize our platform by transitioning from a Java monolith to a modular architecture using Kotlin and Micronaut. We are a close-knit team that values clean code, inclusivity, and collaborative decision-making. Our development process follows a Scrum methodology with 2-week sprints, focusing on delivering new features, bug fixing, and occasional refactoring.
We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our innovative team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our SaaS product, ensuring its reliability and performance in the Regulatory Reporting sphere. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with Java expertise to seamlessly transition into Kotlin, contributing to a codebase that leverages both languages.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design software solutions.
Develop new features, address bug fixes, and occasionally refactor code.
Work with a tech stack that includes Java (17+), Kotlin, SpringFramework, Micronaut, AngularJS, Apache Camel, Apache Artemis JMS, Hibernate, Kubernetes, Helm, REST, SOAP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and the Elastic ELK Stack.
Utilise tools such as Jetbrains Intellij + AI, Jetbrains Datagrip, Lens, Rancher, and Postman to streamline development workflows.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ArgoCD for efficient and automated software delivery.
Embrace a flat hierarchy and contribute to inclusive decision-making processes regarding tool and architecture selection.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Java and or Kotlin Developer, with a willingness to learn and work with both Java and Kotlin.
Familiarity with Spring Framework, Apache Camel, Hibernate, Kubernetes, REST, SOAP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and the Elastic ELK Stack.
Experience with Micronaut, AngularJS, Apache Artemis JMS, Helm is not necessary but would be considered an advantage.
Experience with CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Maven, and NPM.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good English both in writing and spoken language.
Fluent German would be an advantage.

For this position we offer a gross annual salary of 56.448,-EUR according to the valid IT collective agreement with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and professional experience.
