About the Role

As a working student, you will join a young, motivated and multicultural team dedicated to work on Driving Performance & Driveability for next generation eDrives. You will support during the concept and series development phase. You will gain a good insight into the development of future electric drive systems and will have independent tasks from the beginning.

Your Responsibilities

The focus of your work lies in system design. Among other things, you will have the following supportive tasks:

Conducting system simulations and tolerance calculations
Evaluation and processing of simulation and measurement data
Analysis and evaluation of customer requirements
Definition of technical requirements for the electric drive system
Modelling of system requirements in SysML

Who we are looking for

Ongoing bachelor's or master's studies at a university of applied sciences or technical university in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar
Proficient in MS Office applications
First experiences with modeling languages such as SysML and/or UML
Knowledge of mechatronic systems is advantageous
Independent and responsible work approach
Creative and analytical thinking

Your preferred qualifications

Knowledge of modeling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect,...)
Knowledge of ISO 26262 or other functional safety norms is advantageous
Programming skills in VB, C/C++, Python, or Java are advantageous

Salary: In addition to all the mentioned benefits, it is important for us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement of the automotive industry is at least € 2,784.29 (14 times per year) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined based on your actual working hours.

Hours: 20 hours per week This position is filled via a personnel service provider. It is therefore not a direct employment with Magna Powertrain GmbH.
