Component Tester (f/m/x)

As Test Engineer you will be part of a successful team which delivers safety critical products with multiple redundant instances and hundreds of clients to guarantee a safe and frictionless travel of millions of train passengers.

Your CHALLENGE

Responsible for the test of technical components and solutions in the field of traffic management projects

Establish a test strategy which is in line with technical requirements and specifications

Definition and execution of complex testing scenarios covering functional, integration, failover and performance tests including test documentation

Maintenance of our test environment (HW/SW, installation, configuration, scripting)

Ensure the timely delivery of all testing milestones

Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format

Identification and implementation of improvements

Close team work with development, quality assurance, operations and project management

Your PROFILE

Technical degree (HTL/FH/Uni) in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar

At least 5 years of experience and expertise on test design on functional, system and integration level

Competitive mindset, strong desire to “win”

Working experience in domains like Java, Linux, IP networks and scripting

Knowledge about test automation on different levels is a plus

ISTQB certification is an advantage

Comfortable with a highly dynamic and changing work environment

Fluency in English, German skills are beneficial

The salary for this position ranges from € 53.000 to € 73.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification and can exceed the mentioned range.
