Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Java Developer to join its team on a project in the field of Information Technology and Services.
The customer is a company specializing in HR software development and implementation. The company was founded in 1977 in Germany. The company offers its customers solutions to optimize business processes, increase efficiency and motivation of employees, and comply with legal regulations. It has more than 500 employees and over 2000 customers from various industries and sectors, including public sector, industry, commerce, services and healthcare.
The project is the development of a Java-based web application in the field of HR (human resources, payroll management and organizational development).
Technology stack on the project: Java (17), Spring Framework, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure AD.
Responsibilities:

Developing new applications functionalities.
Code refactoring, participating in code review.
Debugging and testing the application.
Participating in making technical decisions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Managing program code in SCM systems such as GIT and relying on tools such as Maven and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins for the build process.

Must-haves:

Experience as a Java Developer for 4+ years.
Professional experience in the field of backend development.
Experience with object-oriented programming languages (ideally in Java 17).
Experience with concepts such as CDI and IOC (e.g. .dem Spring Framework).
Experience with SQL, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
Experience with the Java Persistence API (e.g. Hibernate).
Experience working with Microsoft Azure AD.
Strong team spirit and passionate about developing software solutions.
Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

Experience with Front-end frameworks.
