THE ROLE
We are now looking for a Fullstack Developer - JavaScript/TypeScript (m/f/d) to strengthen our squad and, together with the team, take ownership of the technical development and maintenance of our newest product within the international video, sports and betting market. Your core tasks include the ongoing development of the product’s backend with experienced co-workers, driving the architecture of the system and the assurance of high code quality.
We are a multinational, partly distributed team, with the core team working from Vienna and meeting in the office regularly as we have a hybrid working model policy (on-site/remote, 3:2).
YOUR PROFILE
Required:

Working experience as a Fullstack developer with a focus on Javascript/TypeScript in ReactJS or NodeJS
Familiarity with web APIs (GraphQL / gRPC / REST)
Experience with unit testing and writing testable code
A problem-solving attitude, i.e. not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex problems and determining how best to solve them
Good written and spoken English, as this is the company language.
Positive team player with a can-do attitude

Preferred as well as the opportunity to learn:

Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GitLab), Docker, AWS and container hosting infrastructure
Good knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL)
Understanding of Redis
Knowledge of (or interest in learning) modern software system observability stack e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic
Experience or knowledge of agile development (SCRUM)
Willingness to practice TDD and pair programming

Possibility to work from a home office when needed

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
We will relocate our office near the Nordbahnviertel in the 2nd district of Vienna by end of Q1/2024. Due to the top inner-city location, we are excellently connected to the public transport network and the cycle path network and are therefore very easy to reach.
