We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer to join our client’s team in the insurance sector located in Vienna. This role promises a dynamic and fulfilling work environment.

Workload: Full-time
Place: Vienna
Start: asap
Duration: long term

Activity Description:

Create and implement:

Create detailed software designs
Implement the software designs into quality code

Participate and contribute:

To the technical/functional analysis of the product, key features and process

Documentation:

Create technical and functional documentation for reference and reporting

Agile principles:

Manage all tasks and report progress based on agile principles used in the Claims Handling Tribe

Testing:

Automate and execute application testing
Support the other testing activities

Maintenance:

Fixing and improving (maintaining) software

Automation:

Support and/or create the automation necessary to build the continuous delivery pipeline

Actively participate in estimation and planning activities

Tools:

Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud Config, Jax/RS, MongoDB, Lombok, MapStruct, Kafka Connect, Assert4j, CISL REST Endpoints, CISL Events, CISL Mode, Taly Building Blocks

Must have:

Prior knowledge of microservice architecture, and full stack development of microservices (front end, backend, database, setup, deployments), optional DevOps skills
good to have: Claims domain knowledge

Soft Skills:

Good communication & collaboration with stakeholders
Able to translate functional knowledge to technical knowledge
