Job description
Job Role: Lead / Senior Frontend Developer
Salary: Up to €85k
Location: Berlin - accepts hybrid working
We are currently recruiting for a Lead/Senior Frontend Engineer with skills in any JavaScript Framework but ideally React or Next.js. This is for a company that offers education technology and digital mentoring. The company is looking for someone who can trustfully lead the team and make important technical decisions whilst encouraging more junior team members. The business has offices in Berlin but offers Hybrid working. You are welcome to come into the office or work remotely within Germany. However, if remote, they would love for you to come in for team events too! If you are a skilled and confident Frontend Developer with any project coordination or mentoring experience – this may be the position for you!
Skills you should hold (minimum 3 years of experience):
Experience with React, Next.js or another modern framework e.g. Vue.js or Angular
You must also have German language skills – level C1 and above.
Other skills which may be desired, but not necessary:
Experience with DevOps or cloud-based technologies
Experience with automation tools e.g. Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library
Experience setting up CI/CD
Any experience with PHP or Python
