Our client is a privately-owned, international agency focusing on sports and sports betting. They offer an international marketing portfolio, a strong technological stack, and innovative social gaming products. Their business areas also include media management, marketing consulting, and the technical realization of data-driven products that integrate into a state-of-the-art tech ecosystem. This enables user-centered and context-sensitive advertising. Currently, they are looking for a Junior PHP Developer (f/m/x) Focus WordPress in Vienna. If you are passionate about developing innovative web solutions and eager to work in a dynamic, sports-loving environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Tasks:

Website Development:

Develop, enhance, and maintain external & in-house websites
Provide technical insight and support during the concept phase & technical documentation

Integration & Plugins:

Integrate projects into the CI/CD pipeline
Develop WordPress plugins and integrate sports-data
Integrate third-party APIs into our database

Code Quality:

Write clean code and address PHP notices & warnings

Your Experience:

Advanced knowledge of:

PHP, HTML, JavaScript & WordPress

DevOps Knowledge:

DevOps knowledge is advantageous, preferably Docker & Kubernetes

Programming Skills:

Knowledge of object-oriented programming, MySQL & Git

Other Requirements:

Commitment to high-quality code & continuous learning
Good knowledge of English as it is the business language within the team
