As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, with more than 600 employees, we develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad and set the tone for modern trade.
As JAVA expert (m/f/x) as well as being part of our newly formed agile "CRM Masterdata & Services" team, you will enable our Austrian and international trading companies to gain a 360° view of our customers by bundling all customer-related data. You will ensure a stable and innovative system landscape in the area of customer data and customer communication. With your design and optimizations you ensure that our IT solutions are future-prof and internationally usable
You accompany the entire process of modern software development, starting with brainstorming, followed by the solution approach, the implementation up to the rollout and support of the system
You will evaluate and implement new "state-of-the-art" solutions and support our current system landscape

Qualifikationen

You have good IT skills and convince with a relevant education and several years (min. 5 years) of professional experience as Java backend developer (m/f/x)
Excellent Java skills and experience with Spring Boot Framework
Knowledge in relational database environments (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
First contact in the area of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Kafka
Strong teamplayer with a distinct agile mindset
Self-organized way of working and eager to communicate
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
