We are looking for an experienced agile practitioner with proven work experience as a Scrum Master Product Development (m/f/d) to join our passionate team in Vienna, Austria. At Semantic Web Company (SWC) you’ll work alongside great people with a wide variety of backgrounds and talents.

About the Role
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating and driving the scrum process of our core product, ensuring efficient collaboration, communication, and delivery of high-quality software. In addition the Scrum Master supports other product and solution development activities and the overall coordination between them and can develop towards an agile coach for the overall product development in the company.
Your Main Responsibilities:

Serve as a servant leader for the Agile team, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Organise and lead Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, product owners, and stakeholders.
Remove impediments and blockers that affect the team’s productivity and progress toward sprint goals.
Guide and coach the team and other stakeholders on agile principles, practices, and frameworks.
Monitor and track product progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and delivery of high-quality software.
Foster a culture of self-organization within the and empower individuals to take ownership and accountability.
Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Support all product and solution development activities in our product development process.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent Agile certifications (CSPO, SAFe) preferred.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Good technical understanding of software and product development.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in using Agile project management tools (Jira, Trello, etc.).
Passionate about fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Other qualifications and experiences (nice to have):

Experience with software development practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Familiarity with additional agile frameworks (Lean, XP, etc.) and scaling agile methodologies (Flight Levels, etc.).
Knowledge of software development languages or technologies relevant to our industry (e.g., Java, Python, AWS).
Experience with coaching and mentoring other Scrum Masters or agile team members.
Participation in community events, conferences, or workshops related to agile and Scrum.

The minimum gross salary offered (full-time-equivalent) is EUR 55.000- p.a. – an overpayment is possible, depending on education, skills, and work experience.
