Group Director Culinary (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS:
Provides leadership to hotel management teams to successfully implement culinary initiatives and programs and assists hotels in improving on food products and presentation
Provides input on concept development and kitchen designs
Ensures all hotels operate in line with our company standards
Monitors overall performance of culinary operations and provide action planning as needed; coordinate task force as needed
Communicates creative, quality and financial culinary expectations to properties
Develops and facilitates culinary training (including innovative food presentations and approaches) for Executive Chefs and talents
Use technology effectively to communicate and influence in a timely, high-impact manner; coordinates culinary communication with restaurants & bars and events communication
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment
Developing restaurant concepts and concept statements considering type of property, location, financial resources and human resources as guideline for owners/investors and management company for future projects
Leading the Head chefs-community within our company to motivate them and taking care about upcoming challenges.
YOUR PROFILE:
Culinary degree from accredited culinary school or graduated from Culinary Apprenticeship system or a Technical Culinary School
Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in progressively challenging positions
International Experience in Asia and/or Middle East and Europe
European Job permit
Knowledge of workforce analysis and labor productivity & safety standards
Can read and forecast short-, mid- and long-term financial performance of individual properties and on a divisional level
Ability to read and interpret financial statements
Ability to analyze and react to trends across multiple hospitality disciplines
Ability to respond to complex or ambiguous situations without losing focus on key Culinary objectives
Language Skills: very good English language skills; additional languages skills are a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders (e.g. customers, owners, peers, associates, vendors, corporate)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive “Can Do” Attitude & Hands On Personality
Good analytical thinking and solves problems easily
Understanding different cultural needs
Flexible in travelling
Drivers License Class B

For this full time position we offer a competitive salary, depending on qualifications and professional experience, and a company car.
Only to fulfill the legal requirements in Austria, we have to note the minimum salary by the collective branch agreement, which is Eur 3.576,94 - and we are certainly willing to overpay this amount.
