Lead Data Engineer (f/m/d)Our client is a globally operating company in the region of Salzburg, managing international projects and conducting development and production activities in Austria. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Data Engineer who wants to enrich our clients highly motivated team. In this key position, you will take responsibility for shaping and implementing our data strategy, holding the technical lead in the development of innovative data solutions for global projects. Your responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of data engineers to develop top-notch data architectures and solutions Strategic Planning: Actively shape our data strategy to ensure alignment with corporate goals and future-proofing Data Integration: Develop efficient methods for integrating data from various sources, ensuring the highest data quality and performance standards (ETL/ELT processes) Optimization of Data Processes: Identify opportunities to enhance data processing and analysis processes, increasing efficiency Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools in the data engineering field to keep our team up-to-date Your profile:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience in leading data engineering teams. Expertise in developing and implementing data architectures and solutions. Strong knowledge of database technologies, Big Data frameworks, and cloud platforms such as Azure. Proficient programming skills in at least one relevant language (e.g., Python, Java).
