Your Qualifications
Communication is your strong suit and your presentation skills allow you to summarize, explain, and convey complex topics to our engineering teams and senior leadership
Good Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
Up to two years of professional experience as a Security Engineer including knowledge in Web and Cyber Security
Ideally, you hold at least one relevant certification in the IT Security field (i.e. CISSP, CISM, IT Security Officer, …)
You are well organized, structured, and dedicated to deliver results at high quality
Highly motivated to work with our interdisciplinary engineering teams and bring the knowledge on IT Security and Cyber Security to a new level
Fluent spoken and written English skills. German language skills are a plus
Your Responsibilities
You create – if needed – and extend the security standards for our backend, web, and mobile applications and you support our engineering teams to incorporate and comply with the standards
You are leveraging your skills and experience to build a technical solution to detect vulnerabilities on a regular basis
You are responsible to build up and manage a vulnerability management system (SOC, SIEM) as well as extend our monitoring with Cyber Security related probes (NOC)
You are proactively monitoring and observing the current state of Cyber Security and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities to ensure fast and efficient remediation with the engineering teams
You are responsible for monitoring, investigation, and incident response management of IT security incidents
You coordinate all workstreams focused on Cyber Security including the CHECK24 Red Teams and align strategic initiatives with the IT Director
