Your Qualifications
You have 2+ years of professional software development experience in a senior position.
You are experienced in leading an international development team.
You have proficient knowledge in object-oriented software development, Golang, PHP and RDBMS like MySQL.
You strive for best-in-class development practices and clean code.
You are quality aware and work independently and solution-oriented.
You act as a skilled problem solver, give and embrace feedback.
You are a motivating player within your team and inspire others to top performance.
You have strong written and spoken command of English (C1) and ideally some basic German communication skills.
Your Responsibilities
You are part of the leadership team together with the Managing Director / PO and the frontend teamlead.
You conceptualize the overall technical architecture, consisting of backend, database, caches etc. and drive technical discussions with the different stakeholders.
Your team and you develop the backend for an entirely new product within a greenfield approach.
You take responsibility and ownership for the product and features your team creates and collaborate closely with product management.
You ensure well-structured, reusable, and documented code, design automated release processes (CI/CD) and emphasize automated testing to ensure robustness and high quality of the product.
You take responsibility for your team, recruit, and coach your team members to shape a high-performance team.
