THEIR WAY OF WORKING
They interact directly with people across the company, from the founders to marketing, business development, and customer happiness teams. Every product team member gets the chance to quickly take over responsibility and directly impact their product and the millions of people using it.
They work with React, Redux, Less, Webpack in the front-end and Microservices based on Node.js and Java Spring in the back-end.
Their architecture is built on scalable micro services and is running in the Amazon Web Services cloud.
They employ agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum with a constant focus on delivering value to the customer. They work with short release cycles (3-5 times per week) powered by their CI/CD pipeline based on Jenkins and Docker.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Take responsibility and shape their Frontend Architecture (Structure, Frameworks, Technologies)
Define and execute development standards and processes
Develop new SPAs and features for their products with full end-to-end responsibility
Proactively contribute to UX and design decisions
Write integration and unit tests to ensure high quality and well tested features
Work with their CTO and architects to improve the performance, security and availability of their platform
Stay on top of current technology trends to introduce new technologies that enhance their product and way of working

YOUR PROFILE
6+ years of front-end development experience
Experience in being responsible for/working on Frontend Architecture challenges
Deep knowledge of ReactJS/ES6, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, LESS or Sass, WebPack
A strong sense for good screen design/usability combined with very high quality standards
Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps best practices is a plus
Desire to take ownership and ability to thrive on that (taking on responsibility is expected)
Active communicator, hands-on team player and open for feedback
Flexibility and high level of personal commitment
Fluency in English is essential as it's the working language, German is an advantage
A valid visa/work permit to live and work in the EU/Austria is required
