Job Description & Summary Join Our Digital Factory Team in Austria's Tallest Building!

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced XR Lead Developer to join our team. As the XR Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of XR applications, managing a team of developers, and collaborating with designers, artists, and other stakeholders to create immersive experiences. You will be involved in all stages of the development process, from concept to deployment, and will play a key role in shaping the future of XR technology at PwC.

Responsibilities :

Lead the development of XR applications , including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), immersive video and mixed reality (MR) experiences .
Grow and build our XR portfolio and team in Austria for our clients and be willing to try , test and experiment new approaches towards XR
Collaborate with designers , artists and members of our vast PwC XR network to define project requirements and specifications .
Manage a team of local , external and international developers , providing guidance , support, and mentorship .
Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring optimal performance and user experience .
Stay up - to -date with the latest XR technologies , tools , and trends , and apply them to enhance our development processes .
Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members .
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues , ensuring timely resolution .
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget , while meeting quality standards .
Continuously improve development processes and workflows .

You are interested in this position ? Then we would be happy if you could provide following skills :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a related field ( Master's degree preferred ).
Proven multi- year experience as an XR Developer, with a strong portfolio of XR applications .
Proficiency in XR development frameworks and tools , such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar .
Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript.
Experience with 3D modeling , animation , and rendering techniques .
Knowledge of XR systems and platforms such as Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Microsoft HoloLens, or similar .
Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills .
Strong leadership and communication abilities .
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously .
Passion for XR technology and a desire to push the boundaries of what is possible.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
