Global Technical Sales Leader–MOM/MES

Global Technical Sales Leader–MOM/MES for ABB Ability Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) in Process Automation (PA) business area you will enable the global scaling of sales and services via software, hardware, and engineering services. You will be “the second person through the door” and able to confidently and convincingly show clients that ABB has the technical competence for delivering MOM/MES solutions regardless of size or complexity. You will work with clients in Oil, Gas, Chemical, Refining, Power, Water and Pharmaceutical vertical industry segments as they continue to move their businesses to be more efficient and sustainable.
Your responsibilities

Measuring success against assigned targets for orders and revenue.
Vetting the customer requirements, building conceptual architecture/proposing solutions required to meet client requirements and supporting pursuit strategy.
Demonstrating that ABB has mastery of technology, agile processes, and global\local manufacturing operations management software.
Showing ABB as a leader in MOM/MES design, implementation and maintenance and being a key member of pursuit teams as required for MOM/MES deals – leading when necessary.
Preparing and presenting customized demos to customers and colleagues.
Having knowledge of industry best practices for architectures areas including methodology, standards, good understanding on the enterprise level systems (ERP) and concepts.
Proactively supporting, helping, cultivating, and participating in assembled teams for closing large software opportunities for the division.
Should proactively participate in the ABB internal (direct/indirect) sales enablement activities.

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or relevant experience.
Experience with MES in process industries Experience in architecting and implementing MOM solutions in one or more relevant industry verticals.
Experience participating in large pursuit teams to close large deals. Understanding of the enterprise application integration technologies such as Service Oriented Architectures, Plant to Enterprise integration and Business Process Modeling
Skills in database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, other) Exposure in Microsoft .NET development platform
Experience in the client-server technologies (WEB development). C#, JavaScript, HTML5
Understanding enterprise business systems (ERP systems). Experience in the field of business intelligence (OLAP and Data Warehousing, Microsoft Reporting Services). Edge and the cloud technologies.
