At MEON, we are working to develop and market high-quality, modern and innovative medical devices in the field of in-vitro diagnostics for professional use in clinics, medical laboratories and doctors' offices. Our interdisciplinary teams are highly motivated and built on a broad range of technical expertise with a strong technical foundation in domains such as mechanical and electrical engineering, mechatronics, natural sciences (e.g. chemistry, physics, mathematics, life sciences and biomedical analytics) as well as software and firmware. As we would like to expand our development team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer C++ / Qt / MedTech (f/m/d)who likes the challenges to develop a complex medical device. What will you do?Conceptualization, design, and implementation of software for medical devices in C++ using the Qt framework Conducting functional tests and unit tests for newly developed features Close collaboration with the verification team during software integration Contribution to the creation and updating of the software architecture Collaboration with other teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integrations Ensuring compliance with development standards, guidelines, and processes based on ISO 62304 (software lifecycle process) Technical documentation and knowledge transfer within the team Mentoring other team members Conducting code reviews to ensure quality and best practices What do you bring?Several years of professional experience as a C++ developer Excellent knowledge in development using the Qt framework Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture Good knowledge of databases and SQL Experience with unit testing Proficiency in version control systems such as Git Independent, methodical, and structured way of working Willingness to work in a team Good proficiency in both German and English Completed specialized education (university, university of applied sciences) in the field of computer science, telematics, biomedical engineering, or a comparable technical field Preferred Skills:Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jenkins Experience with continuous integration and automated testing Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python or Javascript Experience with agile development methods like Scrum or Kanban Our offer:We offer an interesting, challenging, and technically versatile job with high personal responsibility and opportunity for professional development and advancement within an energetic, highly qualified team which is part of an innovative group of companies with currently ca. 85 colleagues We work closely together in a flat hierarchy and develop and produce our products using agile principles Appreciative and responsible cooperation is part of our culture We manage our working hours in a trust-based flextime working model We are easily accessible by public transport Dining options are nearby The gross yearly salary is based on qualification and experience, and in any case above the collective agreement minimum of EUR 56.283,36 (full time).
