Lead Frontend Developer (f/m/x)

Our team develops and manages the online solutions (web portals, online marketing sites, etc.) of Raiffeisen Capital Management, the leading fund company in Austria and fund competence center of the Raiffeisen Bank International Group. We aim to deliver the "Best in Class Online Experience" using innovative cloud technology. With the successful launch of several cloud-native portals, the team has created a solid foundation. We want to build on this success and implement new solutions for all customer groups with end-to-end responsibility.

Your mission

Development of new cloud-native web solutions and customer portals.
Continuous improvement of existing software products and adaption to new requirements/standards.
Tech lead for frontend capabilities, support and mentor the developers.
Quality assurance measures such as code reviews and software tests.
Active participation in the development process of the agile team.
Proactively challenge and encourage team members to achieve the common vision.

Your core competencies

Completed IT education (technical college, university) or several years of professional experience in the field of frontend software engineering
Extensive knowledge of web frameworks and web technologies: JavaScript (TypeScript, React, Gatsby, Stencil.js), HTML / CSS3
Sound experience with cross browser development, responsive design, web accessibility, search engine optimization
Restful APIs (REST, XML, JSON)
Knowledge of relevant development tools and CI/CD pipelines (JIRA, Confluence, GIT)
Hands on experience with public cloud services (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure.
Good command of English
Interpersonal and technical skills to mentor and lead other developers

Nice to have

Development experience with Java 17+, Spring Framework
German language skills (B1 level)
