OVERVIEW

As a Senior QA Engineer at Eversports, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the strength and reliability of our products. You'll lead the charge in crafting and implementing dynamic testing strategies, through blending automated and manual techniques like exploratory testing. Situated in Team Provider , your pivotal role will drive the early integration of product stability in the discovery phase, while also empowering fellow QA Engineers through mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

VIENNA, Austria

YOUR TASKS

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Developers, to define clear testing strategies and ensure thorough coverage across all stages of the product lifecycle.

Conduct exploratory testing using heuristic testing approaches, risk-based testing, and session-based testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and hidden defects

Design, develop, and maintain a suite of automated tests, focusing on end-to-end (e2e) scenarios to ensure high product stability.

Lead efforts to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.

Mentor and support QA Engineers in both automated and manual testing techniques, sharing knowledge to uplift the team's capabilities.

Investigate and perform root cause analysis on bugs, putting on your detective hat and decide the severity and priority of defects.

Actively participate in product discovery initiatives to ensure that testing perspectives are considered in the earliest stages of product development.

Serve as the primary point of contact for product knowledge and stay updated on QA testing trends and tools for process improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

Good written and verbal
communication skills
in English

You have minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer in an agile environment

You are experienced in Web test automation in a Javascript environment, like Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer

You are experienced in
exploratory testing, test organization, test execution, and reporting

You have a critical and creative mind
to find edge cases nobody thinks about, a passion for bug hunting, and attach great importance to details

You have a hands-on and proactive approach
