As a Backend Team Lead at Storyclash you will:

Act as the primary point of contact for incidents, potentially requiring weekend availability and coordination with external partners until resolution.
Ensure system stability through effective incident handling, health monitoring, and scalability measures.
Enhance existing and introduce new internal processes.
Establish partnerships with external data providers and identify internal data sources for acquiring high-quality, relevant data.
Lead, mentor, and train a team of backend developers responsible for the crawler engine, including conducting regular feedback and evaluations.
Create, plan, and schedule work packages for the development team.
Define the technology stack, architecture, and requirements for the crawler engine.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure accessibility and usability.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data acquisition techniques and technologies.
Manage budgets, tools, services, external providers, and resources related to data acquisition.
Participate in biweekly sprint planning while aligning with quarterly goals.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

Has prior experience in leading developer teams.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of data acquisition and analysis technologies, including proficiency in PHP, Python, PostgreSQL, CrateDB/Elasticsearch, Selenium, and Jira.
Is proficient in Scrum methodologies and OKRs, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and advancements in data acquisition.
Is capable of developing and implementing data acquisition strategies, managing projects and budgets, and troubleshooting issues related to data acquisition.
Is able to identify relevant data sources and develop effective data acquisition strategies.

The minimum salary is EUR 63,000 gross per year. Your actual offer depends on your skill set and experience.
