Development Engineer Software for device integration f/m/d (via personnel leasing agency)

In the role of Software Development Engineer for Device Integration f/m/d, you will work in a dynamic team that develops the integration of devices in automation systems, user interfaces for devices and software solutions. You will communicate as an interface with other development teams, AVL product managers and external suppliers. In your very varied job, you will make a direct contribution to the success of our products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development and support of device drivers for our automation software (PUMA, LYNX) in the field of electrification and diversification (Euro 7, marine, railway, air quality monitoring etc.)
Definition of device user interfaces (GUI) together with product management and the development team
Coordination and approval of software implementation from external suppliers
Support and further development of cross-departmental software and hardware components in the area of interfaces
Carrying out the necessary development work in a cross-departmental development team with varied activities

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed education (HTL, university, university of applied sciences) in the field of telematics, electrical engineering, automation technology or computer science
At least 2 years of professional experience as an integration engineer
Basic knowledge of physics, measurement technology, electronics and electrical engineering
Advantageous:

Experience with fieldbus interfaces HW, SW (Ethernet, EtherCat, CAN)
Java, Node.js and Angular and web programming HTML5/JS
Experience with script programming languages (Python, Visual Basic etc.), higher programming languages (C/C++, C etc.)
Experience with Vector systems (Canoe, Canape, Canalyzer)
Experience with Windows COM programming

Work in an agile development environment
Very good written and spoken English and good German skills

The position will be filled via personnel leasing agency.
Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €54,600.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
