Development Engineer Software f/m/d with focus on Electrification and Decarbonization
in the fields of Calibration, Optimization and Functional Testing

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for software product testing and test automation coding for our state-of-the-art XSI department products, in particular CAMEO. Your responsibilities as a testing expert will range from hands-on software testing, development of C# test automation and unit testing code based on our test automation framework, up to responsible tasks within our agile development process. You will additionally act as feature owner for innovative product features.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development of Test Automation tests in C#, possibly also Python, Angular
Manual smoke testing of new software functions and interfaces (e.g. E-Motor Testbed)
Defect management with Jira / Confluence
Supervision of our Test Automation farm
Input for the software product documentation within our agile dev team
Feature owner for new product features
Interaction and support of tests done by the independet AVL test center
Occasionally customer try out sessions (also onsite)
Possibly testing of machine learning and AI functions

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed education (secondary technical college, university of applied sciences or university of technology) in the fields software, electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering, controller engineering or similar and willingness to learn the missing parts out of other disciplines
Experience in software testing and development
Experience with e-drive, fuel cells, traction battery and hybrid powertrain as well as ECU/xCU-calibration and vehicle driveability assessment/application is advantageous
Teamplayer
Good knowledge in German and English
Willingness to travel worldwide in a small scale (max. 5%)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €50,330.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
