We are looking for an energetic, intelligent, and driven Software Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team in Vienna. You will be working on maintaining and enhancing one of Tricentis' flagship products,

Tosca Data Integrity
. As a Software Engineer, you will be heavily involved in the decision-making in your team, in the process of solving complex problems, and in bringing creative novel ideas into the mix.

You will:

Collaborate within and across the teams to design and develop a fit-for-purpose solution.

Work closely with product management & UX to design great experiences for our users and align with business goals.

Break down complex requirements into meaningful increments. Refine and review them together with your team.

Design, develop, and test new product requirements. Maintain and enhance the existing codebase.

Quickly adapt and learn new skills and tools to develop solutions that can be well integrated into our customers' data environments.

Rapidly spike different solution approaches for complex engineering problems.

Apply secure design and secure coding practices.

Review the code of your teammates and actively share your knowledge.

Create test specifications and implement fully automated tests.

Use, improve, and maintain the team's CI/CD infrastructure.

Continuously improve our agile software development practices together with your team.

Continuously educate yourself on the latest technologies, patterns, and practices.

Who you are:

4+ years of software development experience in C#/.NET, or a comparable object-oriented programming language.

Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

Experience working in and thriving in an agile development team.

You are comfortable with change: sometimes we will need to pivot and get back to the drawing board.

Get your hands dirty attitude: you are not afraid to pick up a new technology/ library/ pattern and get productive with it quickly if that is needed for the task at hand.

Proven experience in producing high-quality code and implementing testing best practices

Fluent English skills

If you’ve got some of these skills, even better:

Experience with big data analytics and data structure optimization

Experience with developing cloud services

Experience with developing on Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with React

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling

Experience with multiple programming languages

Experience with SAP

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 52.136 gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
