We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Principal Analog Design in the field of AC-DC and DC-DC converter to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

As a Senior Principal Analog Design engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, choosing, and designing the next generation of AC-DC and DC-DC converters for Power Supply Applications using GaN devices. Your work will involve collaborating closely with an international team on different sites to develop high-performance solutions together with other functions (e.g. marketing, package and technology development).

In your new job you will:

Represent the technical competence to support product roadmap and IP strategy development
Be observing and proactively acting on trends
Facilitate and encourage innovation across boundaries
Work with Definitions and Systems team to come up with possible solutions for the next generation products based on customer requirements and analyse various possible solutions
Be responsible for state of the art architectures for AC-DC and DC-DC converters with a particular focus on achieving high-efficiency power conversion for applications using GaN devices
Be modelling of the chosen architecture in high level language to verify the functionality
Consult the design team on the circuit level implementation, l ead implementation trade-offs taking into account complexity and schedule in mind
Assist in defining the requirements for analog and mixed-signal blocks , aligning them with IP Module architecture, and ensuring compliance with requirements through documentation
Work with the Validation and Test Engineering team to ensure DFT methodologies are followed

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A Master’s or PhD Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent field of studies
More than 15 years of work experience in power semiconductor or another relevant profession
In depth knowledge of high efficiency power converters such as DC-DC and AC-DC is a must
Taped out various power converter chips as a lead and have expertise in analog design and layout particularly in BCD processes
Good Analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Ability to work with uncertainties and make the correct trade to come to proper conclusions
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality , precision, and schedule
Good communication skills with fluency in English

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group K (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
