ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a passionate Test Automation Engineer ready for an exciting journey with a digital finance institution? Join our team in Geneva and work closely with our client - a Geneva-based private bank.

As a Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for implementing accurate test cases for new features ensuring they verify and validate user scenarios and business requirements. Moreover, you will own, define and implement the product test plan.
The application is a mobile sign-on tool used by all the bank's clients who use the mobile banking app worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with products team members to identify, establish and implement accurate test cases for new features ensuring they verify and validate user scenarios and business requirements
Maintain RTM up to date to identify proper testing coverage and report accurate risk level on the product, ensure the RTM is well defined in the client’s standard Test management tool (QTest)
Implement automatic tests for components within scope, following company best practices and considering different testing scenarios (mainly Tosca)
Ensure at the end of each release that regression testing is up to date: clean up obsolete tests and integrate new feature tests
Define appropriate test campaigns in the Test tool (manual and automated) and follow test executions
Coordinate and perform testing schedule to ensure test outcome, identify any issues and collaborate with the team to address them
Monitor and evaluate the progress of the product testing process, tracking testing milestones and ensuring adherence to established timelines
Communicate and report on testing progress, results, and other relevant product quality metrics to the Release Manager and the Product Manager, keeping stakeholders informed of the testing status
Follow Test and Quality KPIs on the product with product team members, define action plan when needed
Implement process improvements and company best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the product testing process
Own, define and implement the product test plan: objectives, scope and approach to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (Tosca certifications is a plus)
Experience in Product Testing as Test Engineer and/or Automation engineer, preferably in a software development environment
Familiar with test automation frameworks to design and implement automated tests
Experience in test planning, test design, test execution and defect management
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate people to achieve test purposes and product quality objectives
Ability to think critically about software functionality and potential risks to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Familiarity with testing techniques to ensure new features do not negatively impact user experience, especially on existing functionalities
Understand SDLC and Agile methodologies to align testing processes with development cycles
Fluent English and French skills are needed

NICE TO HAVE

Development background is a plus (e.g. Java, Spring, JavaScript, etc.)
Certification such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is a plus
