Job DescriptionTest Planning and Design: Develop and document comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans. Test Execution: Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing. Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner. Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing. Defect Management: Log defects in the defect tracking system with detailed information and steps to reproduce. Track defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and requirements. Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and project team meetings. Provide timely and accurate updates on testing progress, issues, and risks. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks. Continuously improve and optimize test automation scripts and processes. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to QA standards and procedures. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. The Successful ApplicantEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Proven experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus. Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
