Energy Markets and Optimisation Analyst (m/f/d) - Full TimeWe would need your energy for: Conduct thorough market research and analysis on flexibility management and balancing services markets. Develop strategies and algorithms for intraday and balancing services optimisation of multiple asset types. Support the consultancy of industry customers in their investment decisions on large-scale batteries. Monitor and interpret market trends, policies, and regulatory changes impacting the energy sector. Develop and maintain market models to forecast market growth, demand, and pricing dynamics. Identify market opportunities and risks, providing actionable insights to support strategic planning. Collaborate with internal teams to develop business cases, market entry strategies, and product positioning. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Engage with industry stakeholders, attend conferences, and participate in relevant forums to stay updated on industry developments. You have the following qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Physics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Energy Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in market analysis, preferably within the energy sector. Knowledge of forecasting and optimization as well as mathematical/statistical knowledge Strong understanding of flexibility management, demand response, and frequency regulation services. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming (e.g., Python, Java). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of energy markets, smart grids, and renewable energy technologies is highly desirable.
