Description: This role requires a mixture of team leadership, hands-on software engineering, and software architecture skills. You’ll lead a group of engineers developing full-stack solutions in multiple technologies, including backend, web and mobile apps, across multiple countries. You’ll work in an international, distributed setup spanning multiple timezones, coordinating work and ensuring the timeline delivery of features, guide the team technically to use best practices and write efficient, scalable software.
Responsibilities:

Collaboration with interdisciplinary and international teams to develop requirements and implement innovative solutions.
Governance function for the development team(s).
Development and maintenance of client and server applications using C# (WinForms, WCF).
Implementation of web applications and services with SpringBoot (J2EE).
Development and maintenance of applications using ColdFusion and the ColdBox framework.
Creation of batch commands and tools using Python3.
Design, implementation, and management of relational databases (MySQL/Aurora RDS) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
Utilization of AWS cloud services for application deployment and management (i.e ECS, ECR, S3, CodePipeline & CodeBuild).
Ensuring code quality through code reviews and test automation.
Optimization of existing systems and applications for performance and scalability.

Requirements:

Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in software development and in-depth knowledge in some of the mentioned programming languages and technologies:

C#: Client/Server applications, WinForms, WCF
SpringBoot (J2EE)
ColdFusion & ColdBox Framework
Python3 (for batch commands, tools)
Mobile development

Experience with database systems:

MySQL (Aurora RDS, relational DB)
DynamoDB (NoSQL)

Knowledge in the use of cloud services (AWS):

Elastic Container Service (ECS)
S3 - Object Storage
CodePipeline & CodeBuild
Elastic Container Registry (ECR)

Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
Reflective personality with team spirit and strong communication skills.
Proactive, structured, and results-oriented working style.
Good English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus.
