Join our team as a (Junior) Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d) at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Geldanlage GmbH and take an active role in building a highly scalable and robust investment platform. You will work in a small, international, feature-based team where you will rely on your skills, experience, and passion for learning to grow and develop our investment platform.
Your Qualifications
Strong understanding of how a web application and the browser works
Extensive knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS and understanding of React.js and its core principles
You are enthusiastic about new things, have high-level of awareness and you don’t think that your job stops at the moment when you commit your code
Sense of clean code and high code quality
You like to challenge proposed solutions and love to learn from code reviews
Knowledge about unit testing (React Testing Library, Enzyme or similar)
You have good spoken and written knowledge of English
Your Responsibilities
You support us in the technical implementation of product improvements and further develop our web frontends for desktop and mobile devices
You implement innovative features in close cooperation with our product managers and by
introducing your own ideas
You will help to further develop the current state-of-the-art tech stack of our frontend applications
You collaborate closely with our backend team to integrate REST APIs and backend systems and with our Native App team to ensure seamless compatibility between web frontends and native applications
