Summary

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER supports the development of state of the art optical measurement devices. In this position you will be part of an interdisciplinary core team transforming requirements into customer benefit. Building upon existing architectures you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our product portfolio as well as to the design and implementation of new features and applications on our latest device family. Always wanted to turn high-end hardware into working measurement solutions? Then this position is the right opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities

Design, implementation, and testing of software components for our product portfolio
Analyze technical problems and propose effective and efficient solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software quality
Technically lead the implementation of features within a group of software developers

Qualifications

University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience as software developer in an industrial environment, preferably working in agile teams
Strong development skills in C++. Experience with Python, Java, .NET, Scala is a plus.
Ability to analyze and debug complex applications
Experience with build systems and continuous integration infrastructure
Open-minded team-player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Fluent in German and English
