This position reports to
IS Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to successfully develop and implement security measures for ABB in your area of responsibility. Each day, you will protect ABB from rapidly escalating threats. You will also showcase your expertise by staying vigilant in combating security threats, taking charge of the organization’s cybersecurity, and keeping track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems that protect vital information are secured. The work model for the role is: #LI-#Hybrid #Remote This role is contributing to the IS Services in India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Collaborating with the Core IS functions, BA IS functions and 3rd Party IS Suppliers to ensure understanding of existing business requirements, new service demand, security design and roadmap. • Delivery and monitoring of Information Security services in the area of network, PKI and data security. Implements effective interfaces between local/corporate IS teams for all security activities and, where required, ensures adherence to demands in line to agreed service level agreements (SLAs), and that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met. Implements department’s practice expertise leading to improved efficiency or operational functionality. • Overseeing global security services with geographically distributed teams, and ensuring that service objectives are defined and consistently met. • Reacts on business demand and develops services or solutions meeting the requirements of the business. • Driving projects leading into security solution rollouts in the area of responsibility • Fostering a healthy work environment for direct and indirect team members • Providing timely and accurate reporting for all security services delivery to various Corporate IS or Business IS functions.
Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related qualification, and/or proven capability through past employment experience
15+ years of Information Security experience with at least 5 years in leading service delivery and security operations
Very strong skills in running security technology protection services, including encryption, network security (Firewalls, Virtual Private Network, Intrusion Protection, Secure Web Gateway etc.), PKI and data security
Strong experience in security services operations from design, launch and maintenance. Services across network, end point, datacenter/cloud, vendor management (VM) etc.
Practical experience in common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53
Excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate distributed, international teams, experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Leading security certifications like CISSP, CCNP (Security), CISM etc. are preferred.
