As a Junior PHP Developer (m/f/d) joining our venture at early stages, you will play an integral role in contributing to our mission, by designing, architecting, and building mission-critical features and business logic for our platform. You will work on such topics as core mobility functions, search, user management, payment, security and other. As you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve, you will have an opportunity to rotate between projects and learn new tech stack, ultimately fast tracking your career.

Work with modern software stack with cloud-based microservices, minimum legacy code, and modern versions of language (PHP 8.3) and framework (Symfony 7.1)
Your Qualifications
Min. 1 year experience in software development, including internships
Good knowledge in object-oriented programming
Experience in development with PHP
You are enthusiastic to take on new challenges and display versatility and confidence to operate under ambiguity as we push our product and its feature forward
You strive for best-in-class development practices and clean code, you are quality aware and work independently and solution-oriented
Strong written and spoken command of English
Your Responsibilities
Build scalable solutions for our backend services, APIs and tools
Own implementation, testing, and maintenance phases of the development cycle, receiving guidance and support from senior colleagues on architecture design and best practices
Take an active role in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Assist with expansion of our automated release process (continuous integration) and quality assurance practices (unit testing)
Share your knowledge as part of our software development team, in order to continue to grow together with CHECK24
