The department “Digital Banking Retail” who powers George with several services is looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Java Backend Developer with focus on identity and access management.
Our team is cross-functional and involved in the ideation of features, from the conceptual and planning phases to the implementation and shipping of requirements.
Your contribution is not only high-quality code, but you are actively shaping the product and its technological landscape with your ideas.

What to do:

Design, develop, deploy and operate a microservice architecture platform for corporate banking services with focus on high availability, scalability and low latency
Build and maintain cloud-ready services on top of Oracle and PostgreSQL DBs
Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team in a DevOps manner
Work in an environment that supports your individual growth
Work with other software engineers, data analysts, and decision-makers, such as product owners, to build solutions and gain novel insights

You check these boxes:

Awesome Software Engineer who is more than comfortable writing high quality and easily maintainable code in Java
Good knowledge of state-of-the-art authorization and authentication standards and concepts, i.e., OIDC, OAuth 2.1
Passion for crafting clean code and a steady foundation in coding and building large enterprise applications
Understanding of the way Spring, Spring Boot and Java/Jakarta Enterprise applications are written and familiarity with the challenges that microservices bring
Familiarity with designing and building distributed and scalable systems on Kubernetes/OpenShift in a DevOps manner
Knowledge of engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming and automated testing
Professional experience working in a product-driven environment where you could identify yourself with the product
Experience with frontend technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript and JQuery
