In this role you will be navigating through a dynamic landscape of innovation and agility, our journey spans from crafting low-level OS kernel drivers in C to weaving web technologies with JavaScript. We delve into Python code generators, explore embedded application development in C/C++ or Rust, and shape platforms that redefine possibilities.

Your Tasks

Contribution to architectural concepts and verifying the technical feasibility by developing PoCs (Proof of Concepts).
Align requirements and expectations with stakeholders (Product Management, System Architects, etc.) and implement technology demonstrators.
Documentation of design and algorithms and supporting the transition to the series development teams

Your Profile

Distributed, embedded real-time systems
Good understanding of POSIX OSs (Linux mandatory, additional POSIX based OSs beneficial)
C/C++ development (Rust is a plus), ideally in safety-critical embedded real-time systems
Experience with Python or other scripting language
Experience in the Automotive Industry (incl. classic and adaptive AUTOSAR
Feel comfortable in participating in open-table discussions and brainstorming sessions
Embracing (self-)learning new technologies, even if they are out of your current comfort zone
Research mindset and resilient against uncertainty and changes

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 45,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
