Development Engineer Software with focus on Electrification and Decarbonization f/m/d
in the fields of Calibration, Optimization and Functional Testing

In this exciting position, you will play a key role in the development and unit testing of functions for our cutting-edge software products. As a Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities will range from refining new software features within the Scrum team to implementing functional, non-functional, and unit test codes, along with other responsible tasks within our agile development process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementing product features and corresponding unit tests in C# and Python
Refining product features together with the Scrum team
Developing algorithms
Maintaining existing and new codes
Acting as the Feature Owner for new product features
Providing input for software product documentation within our agile development team
Supporting research topics, including research publications in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed education (FH or university) in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or automotive engineering, with a willingness to acquire the missing parts from other disciplines
At least 2 years of experience in software development in C#, C++, or Java
Experience with e-drive, fuel cells, traction batteries, and hybrid drives as well as control unit/xCU-calibration and driveability evaluation/application is an advantage
Strong mathematical/algorithmic understanding or background
Experience and enjoyment in research publications and presentations
Convincing demeanor, strong team skills and willingness to take responsibility in an agile process
Very good German and English skills
Willingness to travel worldwide to a small extent (max. 5%)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €51,520.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
