FH Internships (FH Praktikum) in the Medical Device Software IndustryAbout the roleDuring your internship, gain experience in DevOps, Requirements Engineering, Software Development, Testing, IT Security, Data Science, AI/ML or Data Engineering. You will have the opportunity to work in close coordination with your BD colleagues in one or more of the following areas: Development of software components in C#, Python or Web/Mobile (Angular, React, Flutter) Evaluation of frameworks, tools, patterns (ORM, messaging, microservices, ...) and their use in prototypes and products Development and maintenance of ML models in the domain of computer vision Requirements engineering and product ownership Development of new automated test strategies Tool research and setup of new CI/CD pipelines and MLOps best practices Analysis of data coming from medical devices and robots (via SQL and statistical tools) About youCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (university or Fachhochschule) in Computer Science (or a related field) IT Security IT/Engineering with interest in healthcare Healthcare with interest in IT Data Science and AI (or a related field) Successfully completed a minimum of 4 semesters (by the start of the internship) First hands-on experience in software development (.NET/C#, Python, SQL or Web/Mobile technologies), data science/engineering, IT Security, test automation or requirements engineering is an asset Detail-oriented, structured, and independent way of working Ability to analyze and think logically Very good written and spoken English; German is a plus Interested in innovative technologies in medical and/or pharmaceutical fields Our offerAs an intern, you will get to know our company in detail and pursue activities which contribute to improving people's health. There is also the potential to combine your work at BD with your Bachelor's thesis, depending on the internship tasks. You will work on regular projects as well as on individual assignments.
