We are looking forward to getting to know you and soon welcome you as part of our team as: Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Python and SQL to join our dynamic team. As part of our development team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions that support our core operations. This role will require strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Experience in the hospitality industry and business intelligence is a significant plus. YOUR TASKS:Develop and maintain software applications using Python and SQL Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize databases for performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance system functionality. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems. Write well-designed, testable, documented and efficient code. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. YOUR PROFILE:Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in Python programming. Proven experience working with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar). Experience with RESTful APIs and web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django). Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, and data modeling. Solid knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git). Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus. Good problem-solving skills Experience in the hospitality industry or familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and booking platforms. Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, PHP) is an advantage Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar software. Experience with machine learning techniques and tools.
