Then this internship is made for you! We are looking for an ambitious AI Research & Innovation Intern to join our Digital Platforms Engineering team. In this role you will work autonomously to research and explore AI-based tools, assess their potential, and identify how AI can optimize the various stages of our software development lifecycle and enhance our engineering practices. Throughout your internship, you will collaborate with our engineering teams to optimize their processes like coding, testing and deployment using AI-based solutions. You will evaluate and prototype innovative AI technologies and presenting your findings and recommendations to our engineers. Staying updated on the latest AI trends and breakthroughs, you will bring fresh and forward-thinking perspectives, fostering a culture of AI innovation within our engineering department. ResearchConduct in-depth research on cutting-edge AI technologies and tools. Your research will guide the implementation of innovative solutions that optimize our software development lifecycle. You will document the research findings and create detailed guides to share insights with our engineering teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and practical application of your discoveries. Software DevelopmentCome up with creative solutions and create proofs-of-concepts to demonstrate how your ideas can be integrated into our software development lifecycle and workflows. Analyze our software development processes to identify opportunities for optimization using AI-based tools. CollaborationIn our agile environment, you will collaborate closely with various teams to analyze their workflows and propose AI-driven optimizations. You'll investigate current processes, develop actionable recommendations, and incorporate feedback from peers to refine your solutions, ensuring they are practical and impactful. ExperienceYour areas of knowledge and expertiseThat matter most for this role:Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. A passion for AI and software development. Hands-on experience in software development and programming languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript or Java. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail. Familiarity with AI-based tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor, or ChatGPT. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Keen interest in researching and analyzing the market for suitable AI technologies. A strong desire to learn and grow and make an impact.
