Engineering is also on your interest list and CAD is not a foreign word for you, at least when it comes to read technical drawings you are familiar with. The theoretical and practical knowledge are not opposites for you, but an accepted challenge. In addition, you have: Basic technical IT education (HTL, technical College, apprentice in technical, IT department) You have previous knowledge in (refractory) Engineering Datamanagement & Programming Use of Excel + Pivot + VBA, Word, Office 365, Python, php, C#, Perl, AzureDevOps, TEAMS (SharePoint), MS Dynamics, technical CAD-knowledge 2D/3D (e.g. AutoCAD (Lisp), Autodesk Inventor (iLogic), SolidWorks, Creo....) Fluent English and German both in writing and speaking CAD Datamanagement (PDM) SAP You like to travel (worldwide, ~ 4%) About the job This position supports the global Engineering & Simulation department by creating and maintaining calculation programs, 2D&3D special programmed internal tools, data management, cross-platform metadata handling and related standards to support the elaboration of projects. Creating manuals, distributing software, grasping and understanding tools for standardization, their code adaptation, unification and optimization, adapting data sources and developing and designing future opportunities make the work in the Engineering Academy very exciting and future-oriented. Your tasks will include: Standardization and creation of Bill of Materials tools (Excel, Web, transfer tools) Design, establish and maintain workflows for global Engineering collaboration (CAD) Datamanagement, Administer SW, support distribution of SW and act as 1. Level support for Engineering & Simulation Parameterization of shape and aggregate geometry, enrich data to support engineers daily business Keeping records within Projects, Creating Guidelines and Manuals.
