Procurement Business Partner (m/w/x) #PharmajobsTeilzeit in LinzTätigkeitsbereich:The Procurement Business Partners hold responsibilities and accountabilities in 8 key areas: Continuity of Supply and Services Lead and support risk analysis. Partner with Category Managers to identify risk mitigation plan for assigned commodities. Provide consultation to management and other groups regarding supplier/commodity issues, which may impact operations and provide purchasing and supplier management expertise to technical, engineering staffs. Project Support Act as Procurement Subject Matter Expert in Global and Site Projects Ensure supplier related milestones are met in supported projects Ensure sure newly sourced auxiliaries and services are available when needed in supported projects Cost Control Assist in the annual standard costing process and provide price forecasts. Maintain standard costing program to ensure a favorable Purchase Price Variance. Create cost saving opportunities through competitive bidding, negotiations, etc., while maintaining ethical practices and win-win outcomes for both parties. Initiate projects that eliminate non-value-added activities, increase quality and service and reduce costs. Stakeholder Management Develop and provide training and guidance to stakeholders Learn and deploy purchasing practices and procedures Provide local/regional support; act as SME for procurement policies and processes Provide guidance on supplier communication and on how to deal with suppliers in accordance with Takeda's values (Takedaism). Supplier Relationship Management Foster supplier partnerships. Focus on supplier development, implementing and monitoring procurement strategies into a "World Class" business environment. Monitor supplier performance in order to achieve global goals assigned to suppliers. Maintain and review supplier performance reports to ensure conformance to supplier management goals (cost, quality, service, delivery). Forecast future commodities pricing and market availability and drive innovation in partnership with our key suppliers Procurement Alignment Lead/Support all sourcing relevant activities - from market analysis, bidding process to supplier selection in alignment with Category management and cross functional team (project team/users/requestor/Quality). Analyze quotations, contracts, etc. to ensure that proposals meet with Takeda standards, government regulations and accepted trade practices Develop key suppliers' strategies and programs in alignment with Category Management and the Procurement Center of Excellence Fachliche Anforderungen:5+ years of Procurement experience with experience in supporting cost reduction projects, value improvement programs, basic contracting, eSourcing and spot buying. Demonstrated understanding of some or the entire major spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals. The role holder will bring documented international strategic sourcing experience within Direct and Indirect related categories or cost reduction experience, pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience or demonstrated understanding in Category Management principles and frameworks would be preferred Ideally able to demonstrate a level of understanding on how to translate business requirements into Procurement operations. Degree level educated.
