Bike Citizens started out by creating the world'sfirst navigation app that focuses on urban cycling. Together with our partner cities andmunicipalities we're building the digital home forthe urban cyclist - motivating and empoweringmore and more people to use the bicycle for theirdaily journeys. AT THIS JOB YOU WILLCreate modern web applications encompassing the entire software stack Take a concept and vision from a static design to a fully working product Collaborate and communicate with designers, developers, stakeholders andothers in the product development team Contribute your valuable input to help develop a well-rounded product Keep learning and be able to share your know-how in a trustful, open-mindedand creative environment YOUR QUALIFICATIONSFormal education in the field of software development Two to five years work experience as a web developer Experience with Angular and Tailwind CSS - JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript, HTML, CSS Knowledge of SQL and git At least a little experience with Ruby on Rails A good feeling for UX Bonus skills: Building community based websites (user account management, invite / follower system etc.) Map based applications (e.g. Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox GL JS) and visualizations (e.g. D3.js) The OpenStreetMap ecosystem Mobile app development (hybrid or native) Proactive and creative personality with hands-on mentality Goal-oriented person who is able to work independently but also in a team Fluent in German and/or English WE OFFER YOUFlexible working hours and the possibility to work from home 4-day work week - the weekend starts on Thursday evening! Working in a young, dynamic and professional team Breakfast on Monday with the team for a great start in the week and cooking sessions at lunchtime Company and team building events (Company Fitness, Pub Quiz, excursions, etc...)
