Azure Platform Engineer (m/fd)About you. RHI Magnesita is currently seeking a Azure Platform Engineer that can provide a high-level of technical knowledge and experience to help us deliver innovative custom solutions for our internal team. This is a senior-level role where you will have the opportunity to design and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and technologies. In addition, you have: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline Experience in architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Agile Scrum or Kanban Experience with implementing development and data platform solutions Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc. Experience with automation tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible Ability to communicate effectively and work alongside leadership within our organization Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. Any additional language will be considered an asset Desired additional Skills & Experience Microsoft Azure Certifications Consulting experience Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages Software development courses and Certifications Experience with IoT connectivity protocols like CoAP, LWM2M and MQTT is an asset. Experience with supporting partners in a software industry setting Experience with applications and services leveraging .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, AspNet WebApi, RESTful API concepts, Docker and Kubernetes Experience with data storage technologies: Oracle database, SQL Server database and NoSQL databases Knowledge using modern Web UI technologies - Angular JS, HTML5, React, CSS3 & Angular Knowledge of Microsoft tools and platforms like Active Directory, System Center, Power BI, Azure, Office 365, etc. Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure, application, IAM, or data platform solutions Development or scripting experience such as C# or PowerShell About the job Your tasks will include: Builds and maintains reusable components using Azure Services within the scope of workloads using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Implement secure cloud solutions for a broad range of customers Support with technical expertise in the areas of Azure and other Microsoft solutions Partner with other architects, developers, and engineers to facilitate the deployment of cloud services, automation, and continuous delivery pipelines Demonstrate ability to work within an Agile project delivery methodology Staying up to date with best practices, tools, and process changes regularly What we bring to the table We are the acknowledged industry leader in innovative technology.
