OVERVIEW: We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (C, C++, Java, Python) for Advertising and Data Technologies (m/f/d) with great communication skills who will work as a team player and a self-starter. The ideal candidate should bring three or more years of experience to the team. You are part of a team that is developing and managing Sportradar's digital advertising technology group setup. Within the self-organized, agile software development team you play an active role in developing Sportradar's technical foundation in advertising technology and in developing new, advertising-based business models for Sportradar. The role is based in Vienna and offers the chance to develop further within the organization. THE CHALLENGE: Develop a radically new product based on advertising technology in one of the fastest-growing businesses in the intersection between media and sports Building highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems, enhancing our core infrastructure and Become part of a new development team working with the cutting edge cloud technologies (AWS native) in a very dynamic environment Take on responsibility and play an active role in shaping Sportradar's advertising strategy and help build up a radically new business model YOUR PROFILE: Required: Commercial/professional programming experience in a C-based language (or potentially Python) e.g. C, C++, Java, etc. An interest in and working knowledge of Go Hands-on experience in software engineering processes, tools, methods, test development Curious and passionate about software architecture and design and always focused on quality Strong understanding of how systems work and how are connected together Fluent English language skills Preferred: Go programming experience Typescript/JavaScript language skills AWS experience like DynamoDB, Lambda Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or similar or relevant working experience Familiarity with containerization and workflow automation Digital marketing know-how in conversion-heavy industries Experience with Scrum-based development Experience working in a mix of Cloud and/or Enterprise data center environments OUR OFFER: The opportunity to work and develop within an inspiring and fast-growing company  The possibility to help shape the future of Sportradar.
