Check out here for more details: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement and maintain backend/platform features of our global IT business system (Allianz Business System) Bring seniority on Java/Java EE and OO methodology into the team Introduce enterprise technologies like Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kubernetes, Events and Messaging (Kafka) Buddy-up within a mixed team of PL1, C++ and Java developers Explore new and legacy technologies and actively contribute to transforming our core platform into cloud native enterprise services Collaborate within agile development teams Analysis and effort estimation of new requirements/tasks Design and implement solutions and best practices for development and deployment of our enterprise services Focus on high quality and a short time to market Make it scale. We serve customers all across the world! Participate in designing and defining our future IT landscape REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the above-mentioned technologies Project language is English (global dev team and customers) Experience working with relational databases (DB2) and SQL Good knowledge of Linux and Scripting Willing to delve into or already have a working knowledge of C/C++, PL1, Cobol, JCL etc. University degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent qualification in the field of software development What we offer youWe know we are looking for a "unicorn" and are well aware that we have a challenging technology stack.
