The Agile Delivery Controlling team is supporting the setup of a modern Finance Architecture, based on event-driven integration, capable of significantly speeding up our processes. Dev-Ops Engineer for an Event-Driven Finance Platform (f/m/x)To support our agile team, we are looking for a Dev-Ops Engineer who can help us build a new platform for event-driven integration of sources and Finance-related calculation engines, based on a modern technology stack. The platform should enable even-driven integration of source systems and Finance engines like Subledger, General Ledger, and Profitability. It will be one of the building blocks of our modern Finance architecture. There will also be a strong focus on leveraging the native functions framework of Apache Pulsar and potentially Apache Flink. We are looking for DevOps Engineers with a strong drive to work with the latest technology, contributing not only to the core product but also developing and strengthening RBIs new event architecture Platform, the underlying runtime environment and the community around. What you bring to the table: Min 5-7 years of experience as a software engineer Hands-on experience with designing and implementing event-driven architectures in large organizations is required Deep knowledge of event-driven patterns and paradigms are required Working experience with AWS is required Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters is required, ideally on AWS EKS or OpenShift Java expertise is a must, python and bash at an average level are desired Experience with running large scale loads on Apache Pulsar or Apache Kafka is required, preferable on AWS Experience with Apache Pulsar and Apache Pulsar functions, Apache Flink is an advantage Experience working with Git / GitHub and DevOps / GitOps approach is desired Experience working in an agile environment Fluent in English language for business purposes Multi-cultural sensibility What we offer: You'll work in an international team at a leading bank You'll benefit from flexible working arrangements and determine your own work-life balance You'll benefit from the very latest in tailored professional development You'll earn an appropriate salary starting at EUR 60,000 gross p.a. including overtime RBI AG is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
