We work in a Scrum team consisting of Frontend/Backend Developer, UI/UX Designer, DB Engineer and Product Owner. The team shares an open office space and works independently to achieve the goals set by the team. When it comes to product development we put great value on the ideas and feedback of every individual team member. Worum geht´s in deinem Job?
I mainly deal with both relational and distributed databases and take care of all database activities/ changes/ statements/ functions/ data migration, and optimizing the performance. Moreover, I support our developers in database-specific activities, research & test new technologies, and participate in data science projects.

Was gefällt dir besonders an deinem Job?
Definitely the communication among the team. We support each other, and everyone’s thoughts and ideas are considered. It’s the perfect atmosphere to develop yourself in, because everyone is supported and encouraged to do their best.
Warum hast du dich für dieses Team entschieden?
The friendly and welcoming atmosphere, young team and the fact that it is a fast growing company drew me to this team.

Worum geht´s in deinem Job?
As Storyclash Backend Developer, I mainly improve, maintain, and scale our crawler engine, which processes more than 1 million cross-platform Social Media posts per day. Furthermore, I work on our AI-based recommendation- and data analysis platform to maximize our customer’s benefit using Storyclash.

Was gefällt dir besonders an deinem Job?
I love the openness for completely new ideas and technologies, the unique challenges, and that I have a big impact on the final product of Storyclash. Furthermore, I enjoy working in a small and agile team without big hierarchies. And, of course, the amazing team spirit throughout the whole company, which results in a job which I really love to do.

The main reasons to join were the great team culture and the possibility to work on a product with a lot of potential for the future.

Worum geht´s in deinem Job?
My job is to make our web application as intuitive and fun to use as possible, while discovering and designing new features and revisiting old ones.

It's great to have a direct impact on how our customers are really using our tool without ever feeling left alone when making difficult decisions

Worum geht´s in deinem Job?
I implement new features in our application while also maintaining existing ones. This is done in close collaboration with our other teams to utilize experience and improve decision making. I also do research on ways to improve our application and tech stack.

Was gefällt dir besonders an deinem Job?
We continuously develop our tech stack through research done by the team to make our development process more convenient. Also the team culture and atmosphere are super relaxed.
